Isoelectric Focusing pH Electrode

The Model
1210 is a specially constructed Flat Combination Electrode
designed
especially for isoelectric focusing techniques.  This
versatile electrode
is suitable for determination of pH gradients and
isoelectric points in
thin layer granular gels, preparative gels,
flat bed polyacrylamide gels,
tube and disk gels and gel fractions.
This unique sensing end measures less
the 6 1/2mm in diameter and is
constructed with an annular reference
junction concentric and flush
with the flat pH sensing tip.  Because of
this small sensing area,
adjacent isoelectric points can be differentiated
by at least 0.02 pH
units.  pH values and isoelectric focusing points for
0.5 to over
10mm thick layers are accurately measured using the
special
electrode.  Compatible with most pH meters.  145mm overall
length,
6 1/2mm sensing tip.

Isoelectric Focusing pH Profiling System

Unique
Miniature pH Sensor.  The Model 1210 pH probe features a 
miniature flat pH
sensor in combination with an annular reference

Measurements.  Because of the pH sensors small

with Both Flat Slab and Tube Gels.  The Lazar pH Profiling System

easily be used with both flat slab and tube gels.

Direct Correlation
Between Protein Banding & pH Profile.  Using the 
Lazar pH Profiling
System, a direct correlation can be obtained 
between protein banding
patterns and pH profile without gel slicing.

Compatible with most pH
meters.  The Lazar pH Profiling System can be 
used with most laboratory
type pH meters.  The Lazar Isoelectric pH 
Electrode plugs directly into pH
meter input.

Avoids Tedious Chemical pH Markers and Gel Sectioning.  The
Lazar pH 
Profiling System gives accurate direct pH measurements on the
surface 
of gels eliminating the need for get sectioning or chemical pH

markers.
