Needle pO2 Probe Measures Oxygen in Tissue
A needle pO2 probe now available from Lazar Research
Laboratories, Inc. can be used to measure pO2 in various kinds
of tissue samples. The probe is especially useful for
inserting into live tissue or perfused tissue samples. Oxygen
transfer and respiration can be studies as a function of blood
pO2, drugs, and other critical metabolic parameters.
The needle probe is easy to calibrate and use, and can be
hooked up directly to a strip chart recorder or pH/millivolt
meter. pO2 can be displayed directly in any common units such
as % oxygen or oxygen partial pressure (mm Hg).
